Reddy to Hear from you!

The Reddy Team, in partnership with Independent Health, is excited to grow and improve our bikeshare network in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. We need feedback to help us guide that growth—including how we add pedal-assist electric bikes to the fleet.

Folks who complete the 2-minute survey are entered to win 1 of 5 Shop 716 Gift Cards. The $25 gift card can be redeemed at one of 875 local businesses through Erie and Niagara counties. (Learn more about the gift card in this link.)

The feedback Reddy receives every year is highly valuable. The surveys tell us more about who is using the bikes and for what means—recreation, exercise or commuting. For instance, we found out that folks who don't own cars are some of our most active riders–riding at least ten times throughout the season!

The surveys also tell us if service improvements and outreach strategies are making progress on netting a wider audience that reflects greater Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Micro mobility operators across North America strive to find various ways to attract users that resemble the communities they serve. In surveying operators nationwide, the North American Bikeshare and Scootershare Association (NABSA) reported in August that non-white users of micromobility under-represent the general population by 21 percent. And among females, the under-representation sits at 13 percent.

In 2019, slightly more than 1 in 5 were non-white

In 2019, 46% of riders were female.

The Reddy Team and Independent Health are proud of the progress we’ve seen, but are not done yet in making bikesharing and active living more inclusive. We look forward to hearing user feedback. The survey will be up through the month of October.
