Payment Plan Improvements: Creating Savings For More Pedaling

As the Reddy Team prepares for an exciting 2023 season, users reading our signs and visiting our Website will find some exciting changes to the payment plan options.

In partnership with Independent Health, we are replacing the Two-Day Pass with a Pay-As-You-Go Pass that doesn’t expire. The Pay-As-You-Go pass features the same price of $3 sign-up and $0.10 per minute of biking.

With Pay-As-You-Go, people can now pedal without worrying about how many more hours they have left before their pass expires. The pass also simplifies billing by consolidating the transaction to the point-of-sale. With the 2-Day Pass, users paid for all of their riding balance after the two days of using Reddy. Now, users signing up to Pay-As-You-Go for the first time will be required to log $10 of riding credit when they sign-up for the pass. According to our research, that balance is slightly less than what the average 2-Day pass user has been spending on trips.

In addition to saving money for the visitor audience, we are also excited to announce that Reddy Bikeshare is lowering the cost of our annual pass from $55 to $40. Annual pass membership is designed for users who make Reddy Bikeshare part of a recreation or commute-based routine. Users who buy the annual pass pay only a penny per minute of bike riding. These changes are designed to encourage more folks to ride throughout the season. At a time when prices of seemingly everything are going up, we want to do our community right and make biking more affordable.
