Our Team

Sage Welte (He/Him) - Micro-Mobility Specialist

Sage is an Environmental Design graduate from the University at Buffalo. He began working for Shared Mobility Inc, Reddy Bikeshare’s parent non-profit organization, beginning in 2021. His interests include web development and public transportation and hopes to develop Electric Micro-Mobility infrastructure.

Simon Husted (He/Him) - Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Simon’s face is a familiar sight pedaling around Buffalo’s streets, often participating in community bike rides organized by Slow Roll Buffalo and East Side Bike Club. And if his bike is not pedaling in the street, perhaps it is seen racked in front of an NFTA-Metro bus, leveraging public transit to live an active lifestyle whenever possible. Whether the weather brings rain, sun, wind or snow, Simon gears up and commutes by bike every day to complete an errand for work, exercise at the gym, grab lunch at a local business or meet someone for an appointment. Simon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in News Journalism from Kent State University and eventually went back to school to earn a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Development at Cleveland State University. Before joining the Reddy Bikeshare team in Spring 2022.

Mitch LaRosa (He/Him) - Program Director

A native Buffalonian, Mitch has been with the Shared Mobility team for nearly five years, beginning his time with the organization as an intern while an urban planning graduate student at the University at Buffalo. Mitch is passionate about alternative transportation, especially biking and public transportation. Western New York is up-and-coming and Mitch believes that the work Reddy does in the community strengthens our region by adding an equitable, sustainable asset to our transportation networks. When he is not at work, Mitch can be found on his bike riding around Buffalo, taking in the city’s beautiful parks, and staying active as much as possible.

Matt Rebmann (He/Him)- Fleet Manager

Matt grew up in the greater Buffalo area and learned to navigate the city in his youth via bicycle. Using a bike as his main mode of transportation into his 20's, developing a passion for cycling came naturally. Matt found his way into Reddy by helping deploy (and remove) racks and bikes for several seasons. This resulted in lasting relationships the Reddy crew that lead to his eventual hiring with the team.

Nate Schultz (He/Him) - Operations Director

Nate is a dedicated bike rider. He loves long distance bike trips, mountain biking, and chooses to bike over drive whenever possible. Nate is extremely active, loves to play hockey, go on hiking and camping trips, and he takes full advantage of Buffalo summers. Nate graduated from Daeman College, lives in Buffalo and has been working with Reddy Bikeshare since its inception in 2016. Nate literally keeps the wheels turning at Reddy Bikeshare and often lightens the mood with a pun or corny Dad joke.

Jen White (She/Her) - Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor

Jen started with the organization in 2013, hired as PR & Marketing Associate for Buffalo CarShare, and quickly adopted a multi-modal lifestyle. Her biking journey began in 2014 when she decided to take the Bike To Work Week challenge. Since then, Jen has enjoyed being car-free, and chooses to walk, bike, take public transit, and use shared mobility options. Jen helped launch Reddy Bikeshare in 2016 and has been a devoted spokesperson for the program ever since. Jen holds an M.S. in Public Relations from SUNY Buffalo State and has been living in Buffalo for 15 years. She is committed to leading an active and healthy lifestyle through biking, yoga, and plant based eating.
