From July 19–25, REDDY Bikeshare celebrated its 10th Birthday with our biggest member appreciation promotion ever, in partnership with Independent Health. Every rider with an annual plan—which included traditional Annual Pass, employer-sponsored passes, and our discount program passes—received their first 100 minutes of riding free every day throughout Birthday Week.
The response was incredible. During the week, users redeemed more than 1,500 free rides on standard or pedal-assist e-bikes, taking advantage of the opportunity to commute, explore, and enjoy summer on two wheels.
The celebration wasn't just about free rides—it was about bringing our community together.
On July 24, riders gathered for our annual Niagara Falls Pedal Party with Slow Roll Buffalo and Judas Tree, celebrating another great season of riding in Niagara Falls with an evening of community, conversation, and fun.

Our birthday celebration continued at Food Truck Tuesday at Larkin Square on July 28 after thunderstorms forced us to postpone our original July 21 Birthday event. Riders joined Team REDDY for a community ride, enjoyed local food, and celebrated a decade of making healthier, greener, and more connected transportation accessible across Western New York. Everyone who joined the group ride or came showing they’ve logged 10 or more miles on bikeshare got a $10 off coupon for participating food trucks.
